Great success for the Asian Open Championship 2010 in India

Ended with great success of the Asian Open Kickboxing Championship,2010 in Pune – India, from February 19 - 22 at the Balewadi Sports Complex. organized by the Indian Kickboxing Association, Mr. Ziauddin Khatib, under supervision of Mr.George Thoktaridis, the President of  WPKA, and  Dr. Walid Kassas, President of the Asian Kickboxing Federation - AKF.

And the presence of a large number of political and social figures, including Minister of Youth and Sports and President of the sports in all the schools and many members of the Indian Parliament and also a significant presence of Bollywood stars, including Mr. John Abraham Bollywood actor is congratulated Mr. Ziauddin Khatib and the AKF & WPKA for this efforts to bring the Championship to India.

The participation of Countries from Asia, Europe and Africa, including the following countries: Iran - Yemen - Afghanistan - Hong Kong - India - Lebanon - Nepal - Greece - Hungary - Netherlands – Czech Republic - South Africa - England - Ivory Coast.

During this event, Mr.Abdul Rahman El-Rayess as a Chairman of the International & Asian Referee’s Committee who gave refreshment seminar to the Judges & Referee’s .

Over three consecutive days began qualifying from the morning until the evening for amateur players, interspersed with nights of finals and collected on the Professional Title of  Asian in several weights, WPKA International Title for the Heavy Weight  Fighters from Iran and Hungary.

   At the end of the Asian Open Kickboxing Championship and distributed, medals and souvenirs to the participants and heads of delegations and valuable Trophies gifts also to the President of the President of WPKA, Mr. George Thoktaridis and  to President of AKF,  Dr. Walid Kassas,  and to the Chairman of the Referee’s Committee, Mr. AbdulRahman El-Rayess.
