World Pan- Amateur Kickboxing AssociationW.P.K.A. is a well- known Kickboxing Association with the headquarters based in Thessaloniki, and its Constitution is established by Greek Government. W.P.K.A. has been operating since 1997. Until now more than 100 countries have become members and new ones are joining its efficacy.
We organize amateur fights in the following styles: FORMS, WEAPONS, SELFDEFENSE, SEMI CONTACT, LIGHT CONTACT, FULL CONTACT, LOW KICK, ORIENTAL AND KOSHIKI.
Our World Administration of 11 persons, and the way we take decisions for the best of the sport, makes us a deeply organized and democratic World Association.
The great advantage of W.P.K.A. has been operative relating to other associations is that it offers some exceptional terms of cooperation, which are:
·        Free of charge registration and no subscription for a club or promoter or a federation consisted of other World bodies to become a member; contrary to other associations requesting from 1000 up to 3000 Euro annually for subscription fees.
·        No commitment required for the members cooperating with other World bodies.
·        Every year W.P.K.A. organizes high level World, Intercontinental, European and Asian Championships with participation of 40-50 countries and 800-1000 athletes, as well as World Cups and Open Tournaments.
W.P.K.A. is interested in expanding its contacts globally with new worldwide partners. The only obligation of the representative is to participate with a team in the World and Continental Championships. W.P.K.A. gives an exclusive opportunity to the representative to provide W.P.K.A. Black Belt and Trainer Certificates in his country. The Color Belt Certificates are free of charge for the representative.
The Representative decides on the team that is going to participate in the World and Continental Championships and no other person can be accepted from the same country.Â
The professional section, which is World Profi Kickboxing Association, organizes a big number of fights throughout the world, and gives an opportunity to the athletes to be recognized. Well known all over the world names like Remy Bonjansky (Holland), Orlando Wiet (France), Johmod Kiatadisak(Thailand), Mike Zambidis(Greece) are holders of World Profi Champions Belt.
